MasterCraft Dominates 2007 Riders Choice Awards
September 07, 2007
With the polls now closed and votes counted, Wakeworld.com announced the winners today of its 7th annual Rider’s Choice Awards. With categories ranging from Top Ten Male Riders to Most Improved Riders to Boat of the Year, wake sport enthusiasts gathered around their computers in the thousands over the last few weeks to cast their ballot for their favorite riders, best wake sport equipment and most envied ride. And at the top of the pile? The MasterCraft X-Star and its infamous team of riders.
Legendary X-Star
For the 5th straight year, the MasterCraft X-Star, long considered the King of Wakes, retains its throne as the Boat of the Year. Although the competition this year was admittedly tougher, the X-Star still took its rightful place on top of the podium, deeper solidifying its notorious place in wakeboard… correction… boating history.
MasterCraft Athlete Domination
In the Top Ten Male Riders category, four MasterCraft athletes again carried home top honors with Rusty Malinoski being named Male Rider of the Year, Shane Bonifay snapping up 4th, Andrew Adkison getting his hands on 5th and Parks Bonifay snagging 6th. But it was not over there… in Most Improved Rider category, Rusty Malinoski again carried away top honors.
Shout Outs
So congratulations goes out to these incredible riders and the legendary boat that pulls all of them – they have been chosen by their peers as the best this industry has to offer!
