MasterCraft Boat Company has teamed up with a local charity event, Eskimo Escapades, to raffle off an X-1, complete with custom wrap graphics, tower, tower speakers, cover and trailer. The boat was specially designed and manufactured by MasterCraft for the 15th Annual Eskimo Escapades Shut Up & Ski raffle event to be held on January 10, 2009.  

 

The 15^th Annual Eskimo Escapades Shut Up & Ski raffle is selling 1000 tickets at $100 per ticket – this means each individual who purchases a single ticket has a 1 in 1000 chance to win a $60,000 boat. If anyone wants to increase those odds, there is no limit on the amount of tickets that can be purchased for this raffle. No matter what, there will be many winners because the money raised from this event will go to support three remarkable organizations: Dream Connection, Patria Neal IRC and The Adventure Amputee Camp.

 

Since the event began 15 years ago, Shut Up & Ski has benefited Patricia Neal IRC and the Dream Connection. The Dream Connection provides dreams for seriously ill children in East Tennessee. The Patricia Neal IRC is an outreach program of Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center. The IRC provides equipment and schedules clinics for individuals with brain injuries or spinal cord injuries to engage in recreational activities such as golf, snow skiing, hand cycling, paddling, and our favorite thing - water sports.

 

And added this year is the third group - The Adventure Amputee Camp, Inc. (AAC). The AAC provides children with amputations the opportunity to stretch their reality and imagination of what is possible to achieve. Camp activities may include river rafting, high ropes and waterskiing. All activities are modified as necessary to meet the ability and interest level of each camper, yet provide many campers an experience that was previously untried, unobtainable, or unimaginable. The money raised will help defer the cost and make this experience available to more kids at less cost.
