Sarah Green is Back on the Water!
April 09, 2008

After the birth of Ryan and Sarah Green's son, Fletcher on December 16th 2007, Sarah has begun training again for the 2008 season.

"I didn't want to rush back into skiing immediately after the birth of Fletcher, I felt I wanted to concentrate solely on him and wait until the hunger for me to get back out on the water got unbearable! I always had in the back of my mind that I wanted to be back fully fit and skiing for the US Masters and I feel I am on track for that."

Sarah took a break from the competitive side of skiing last June after winning the US Masters for the second time in a row and finishing 4th at the MasterCraft Pro Swerve (whilst 10 weeks pregnant). Her goal was always to be ready or the 2008 US Masters which would give her body enough time to get fully fit again without rushing things.

"I feel great that I am back on the water, it is such a good feeling and each set I have I feel I am getting stronger and getting more buoys! I have left myself 8 weeks and I am confident that this will be enough time to get back to a competitive level. Before I started back out on the water I spent alot of time in the gym getting fit so that has helped a great deal but my strength is way down at the moment".

Sarah's positive attitude for the sport she loves is a tremendous help to her both on and off the water and will surely be a huge help to her when she is standing on the dock at the US Master's after 12 months off.

A big thank you to MasterCraft, O'neil Wetsuits, O'brien, Greenski and UK Sport for all your support over the last number of years. I hope I can continue to help brand your products positively over the next coming years.
